Estimated Remuneration: Up to PKR 635,000 per month (approximately)
About the Project: The Government of Punjab has secured financing from the World Bank for the Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP), aiming to improve access to quality health services and social inclusion programs. The project focuses on marginalized and vulnerable households in selected districts across Punjab. To fulfill these goals, PHCIP is hiring a Communications Specialist to lead and manage all communication strategies and campaigns for the project.
Key Responsibilities: Govt of Punjab Jobs 2024
- Develop and implement comprehensive communication strategies and campaigns, particularly in the public and private sectors.
- Create and manage effective branding strategies, with a special focus on marginalized and vulnerable segments of society.
- Manage media outreach, including the preparation of issue briefings, press releases, and web content.
- Utilize both electronic and print media, as well as social media influencers, to maximize the reach of communication initiatives.
- Oversee content creation for various communication channels, ensuring consistency and impact.
Qualification Requirements: Govt of Punjab Jobs 2024
- Education: Master’s degree (16 years of education) in Mass Communications, Journalism/Media, or a related discipline from a recognized foreign or local university. The degree must be recognized by the Higher Education Commission (HEC) of Pakistan.
- Experience: At least eight (08) years of verified experience in communication strategy development, media outreach, and campaign management.
- Experience in developing strategies with clear examples of branding in the public/private sector.
- Expertise in managing communication for marginalized and vulnerable groups.
- Experience in both electronic and print media, with an emphasis on social and behavioral change communication.

- Strong organizational, planning, and project management capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
