Hotel Jobs 2024 | We are seeking a Front Desk Agent to provide outstanding service and ensure that each guest’s experience is memorable from check-in to check-out. If you are a customer-service enthusiast with a keen eye for detail, this is the perfect role for you!


Key Responsibilities: Hotel Jobs 2024

  • Maintain Up-to-Date Guest Information: Keep all department updates and guest-related information presentable and ready to share with guests.
  • Handle Guest Inquiries & Complaints: Address guest complaints, inquiries, and requests promptly, referring complex issues to the supervisor when necessary.
  • Update Room & Rack Status: Keep room and information racks current, sending check-out and arrival slips to relevant departments like room service and telephone.
  • Daily Reporting: Prepare and distribute the daily turn-down sheet, night receptionist reports, guest in-house list, VIP list, and daily forecast to other departments.
  • Communicate VIP Arrivals: Inform relevant departments and outlets of VIP arrivals, room changes, check-ins, check-outs, and special arrangements.

Guest Management & Coordination: Hotel Jobs 2024

  • Check-Out & Key Retrieval: Manage the check-out process for departing guests, retrieving room keys and updating information racks accordingly.
  • Housekeeping Coordination: Review housekeeping reports, addressing any discrepancies by informing supervisors and following up to ensure resolution.
  • Manage Messages: Handle all guest messages via telephone and telex, ensuring timely delivery of important information.
  • Pre-Registration & Arrival: Ensure that guest pre-registration is completed before their arrival, followed by a seamless registration process as per the hotel’s standard operating procedures.
  • Guest Queries & Problem Resolution: Handle guest queries and complaints, ensuring quick resolution to guarantee satisfaction.

Daily Tasks & Coordination: Hotel Jobs 2024

  • Room Status Reports: Update daily room status reports and inform other departments of room or rate changes.
  • Courtesy Calls: Conduct daily courtesy calls to guests, ensuring they have everything they need for a comfortable stay.
  • GSMS Updates: Log complaints, suggestions, and compliments in the Guest Service Management System (GSMS) daily.
  • Shift Management: Ensure smooth handling and taking over of shifts, maintaining continuity of service.
  • Checkout on Opera: Follow the company’s policy for checking guests out using the Opera system.

Guest Interaction: Hotel Jobs 2024

  • Personalized Room Orientation: Greet and escort guests to their rooms, providing a detailed room orientation to explain electric features and other amenities.
  • Upselling & Cross-Selling: Actively engage in upselling, cross-selling, and suggestive selling to enhance guest experiences and increase hotel revenue.

Financial & Administrative Tasks: Hotel Jobs 2024

  • Maintain Cash Float: Ensure proper handling of the cash float and record all transactions accurately.
