The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Islamabad, through its Centre of Digital Communication, invites applications from qualified, professional, energetic, experienced, and motivated individuals for appointment against a PSDP project. These positions are offered purely on a contract basis.
1. Deputy Director (Data Sciences) – Federal Jobs
Pay Scale: PPS-8
Number of Posts: 01
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years of Education) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC.
- OR 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s (16 years of Education) degree in Computer Engineering or Computer System Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by PEC.
- 5 years of experience in IT/System Analysis & Design, Software Development, Computer Programming, Data Sciences, or Artificial Intelligence in BS-17 or above, or an equivalent position in a Government/Semi-Government/Public Organization.
- Maximum Age: 35 years.
- Preference will be given to candidates with 5 years of experience in public sector PSDP projects.
2. Assistant Director (AI & Cloud Computing) – Federal Jobs
Pay Scale: PPS-7
Number of Posts: 02
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Master’s/Bachelor’s (16 years of Education) degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC.
- OR 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s (16 years of Education) degree in Computer Engineering or Computer System Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by PEC.
- Maximum Age: 30 years.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are certified in Data Sciences, AI, or Cloud Computing with relevant experience.
- Expertise in programming languages such as C, C++, or Java is an additional advantage.
3. Deputy Assistant Director (Admin) – Federal Jobs
Pay Scale: PPS-6
Number of Posts: 01
Qualifications & Experience:
- 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s (14 years of Education) degree in Administration, Arts, or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by HEC.
- OR 2nd Class or Grade ‘C’ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or Computer System Engineering or an equivalent qualification from a university recognized by PEC.
- Maximum Age: 28 years.
- Preference will be given to candidates experienced in IT and System Administration, OS, and Software Installation.
General Terms and Conditions:
- All posts are on merit, with the place of posting in Islamabad/Lahore.
- The initial contract duration will be one year or until the project is completed, whichever comes first.
- Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a test/interview. No TA/DA will be provided.
- The Ministry reserves the right not to fill the posts or to withhold appointments against the advertised posts.
- Government employees may apply for project posts through the proper channel. However, if selected, they must resign from their government service before appointment to the project post.
- Age relaxation will be granted as per Federal Government rules.
